Quick Measure Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 3, 2026
1. Introduction
Quick Measure ("app", "we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.
2. Information We Handle
- Project files, measurements, notes, calculations, drawing names, and other content you create or open in the app are processed to provide project viewing and quantity takeoff features.
- Project, note, calculation, and drawing data is stored locally on your device. It is not sent to us through the app. It may leave your device only when you choose to share, export, back up, or open a file using an operating-system or third-party feature.
- We do not require an account to use the core app features.
- If you contact us, we receive the information you include in your message and use it only to respond and provide support.
3. How We Use Information
- To provide project viewing, measurement, calculation, and export features.
- To respond to support and privacy requests.
- To maintain and improve the app using analytics and diagnostics as described below.
4. Analytics
Analytics collection starts after the user accepts the initial legal notice. Project names, notes, drawings, file paths, measurement inputs, calculation results, payment tokens, and purchase receipts are not sent to Firebase Analytics. Firebase may also process technical information such as app instance identifiers, device information, and approximate location according to Google's policies.
5. Advertising
Quick Measure uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) for interstitial advertising at selected points in the free experience, including after a project is created. AdMob may process device identifiers, advertising identifiers, device and app information, approximate location, consent status, and ad interaction data to deliver, measure, and limit advertising. Depending on your region and platform, ads may be personalized only where permitted and where you have provided the required consent. Premium users, users with a purchase in progress, and users in purchase verification or pending states are not shown these ads. You can manage advertising and tracking permissions through your device settings and any consent controls provided in the app.
5. In-App Purchases
Quick Measure may offer optional paid features, subscriptions, or other digital purchases. Payments are processed by the relevant app store, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card or bank account details. The app store may provide us with limited transaction information, such as a purchase token, product identifier, transaction status, and purchase date, so that we can unlock purchased features, validate purchases, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and provide support. Refunds and payment disputes are handled by the applicable app store under its policies.
7. Sharing and Third-Party Services
We do not sell your personal data. The app uses Firebase Analytics, Google AdMob, and the Apple App Store or Google Play services. These providers process information under their own privacy policies when the relevant feature is used. The app may also use operating-system services for file access, sharing, backup, or app distribution.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Data stored locally can generally be deleted by removing it within the app, deleting the relevant files, clearing app data, or uninstalling the app. Analytics and advertising data may be retained by Firebase or Google according to their policies. Purchase records may be retained as needed to validate entitlements and comply with legal, accounting, and platform requirements. Support messages are retained only as needed to handle the request and maintain appropriate records.
9. Children's Privacy
Quick Measure is a professional construction productivity tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children.
10. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information under our control. No digital system is completely secure.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date.
